Why do I ever create "Top Album Of The Year" lists

...when I know I'm just going to keep discovering music from that year a few months later?

Fanfarlo's debut album Reservoir isn't better than Mandala or The Satanic Satanist, so it wouldn't shake up my aught-nine list too much. But it's fucking marvelous nonetheless. I'm really bad at comparisons but I'm gonna try it anyway - they sound like a mix of Arcade Fire and Okkervil River but with better vocals (in my opinion) and more interesting instrumentation and a better sense of melody and harmony.
